1. Sam Altman Startup School | How to Start a Startup

A series of video lectures facilitated by successful startup founders were initially given at Stanford in 2014. This amazing collection of video lectures will help an aspiring startup founder to get into the startup world with the right foot. You can access the collection here.

2. Steve Blank’s Course | How to Build a Startup

The father of Modern Entrepreneurship offers free knowledge on rapidly developing and testing ideas by gathering massive amounts of customer and marketplace feedback. The course is a must for new founders looking to validate their ideas in real markets. The course can be accessed here.

3. From Idea to Market | University of Maryland

This course from the University of Maryland published on Coursera offers knowledge on navigating the innovation process from idea generation to commercialization. How to effectively develop strategies to bring your innovation to the market. The course can be accessed here.

4. SiliconDar Startup School | Sahara Accelerator

A program coordinated by Sahara Ventures inspired by Sam Altman’s Startup School for local Startups in Tanzania to share their experience with local startups on what it takes to build a startup. The program resonates with most African Startups. The contents of the program can be accessed here.

5. Paul Graham Essays

If you are building a startup and never interacted with PG essays, you are missing a lot. It is one of the most real and resourceful places to access honest advice about building a startup, what to expect and how to prepare. You can access the essays here.

6. Sam Altman Startup Playbook

Great Startups are functions of four variables; The Idea, Great Team, A Great Product and a Great Execution. Sam has expounded on these four areas in his Startup Playbook in the easiest way to comprehend through illustrations and podcasts. You can access the playbook here.

Whether you are an entrepreneur or someone looking to develop foundational skills in startup financing, this is a perfect course for you. The course demystifies key financing concepts to guide entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs to secure funding. You can access the course here.

8. Design Thinking For Innovation

One of the courses introduced me to the innovation world. The course facilitated by Prof. Jeanne M. Liedtka of the University of Virginia opens the door to design in innovation. It provides the tools to become an innovative thinker and uncover creative opportunities. The course can be accessed here.
